I have a couple of updates.
My power has been restored. There is still a lot of cleanup and repairs to do. Also there is another hurricane headed this way.

Mister Lucky will be going into surgery tomorrow. His hip didn't stay in joint so he will have to have surgery on the hip as well as his forearm. It would be better to do the surgeries at separate times. Unfortunately that is also significantly more expensive, so he will have both surgeries on the same day.

Everyone...Jerome isnt really telling the whole story about the IT costume that his wife ordered. It really went like this:
Scene- Jerome sitting in his easy chair drinking a cold IPA and looking at the Fredrick’s of Hollywood special Halloween edition costume catalogue
In walks his wife
Wife: Have you decided?....Do you want me to order it?
Jerome: (still looking at the nurse outfits in the catalogue) Oh…..Y….E…..S please.
(10 days later)
Scene- Jerome and Wife sitting at dinner table
Wife: Hey guess what? The costume arrived today.
Jerome: (smiling) Oh boy….please put that on tonight and surprise me in the bedroom.

Scene- We find Jerome (thinking about the nurse costume) preparing the bedroom for a romantic evening with low music playing, turned down sheets, and the soft romantic glow of candles casting shadows off the walls.
Jerome: (laying on the bed with his arms folded behind his head and yelling towards the other room) I have the bedroom ready
Wife: OK, I’m ready to show you (the bedroom door creaks as she slowly opens the door and walks in saying)

I was able to bring Mister Lucky home from the hospital last night.
He's doing well. He wants to go play with his friends. He can't really do that for 6-8 weeks. He can hang out but not really play. The repairs are too fragile right now.
He has to be confined, so I made a 4' x 5' pen for him in the family room. I didn't want to use a dog kennel, since he spent about a year in one before I rescued him.

Thanks to all of the people who donated to help with the bills. Surgery is really expensive, but Lucky is my boy, so I couldn't just put him down.

Need 3 Logisticians & 4 Warehouse Techs

We're going to be hiring 3 logisticians (System Support Engineers) and 4 warehouse technicians (Material Handlers) in the coming months here in Colorado Springs.
I'm hiring two of the loggies, one each for BMEWS/PAVE PAWS and Space Surveillance Telescope, then there's another for PARCS. The warehouse techs are for a 9 month project with the possibility of permanent positions, the loggies are permanent. We are the depot for the above-mentioned systems, providing sustainment as well development, testing and fielding of new capabilities.
If you've worked any DoD logistics support (DMSMS, logistics, warehouse, managed supply points, bench stocks, depot support, project management), can read TOs and drawings, know your way around a computer, have good written & verbal communications skills, understand the lifecycle of a project, have/had/can get a SECRET clearance, and can start as soon as next month here in Colorado Springs, drop me a message and a resume ASAP.
I need people that I can trust to get the job done, who can slide right into the teams and get to work. No rocket science involved, and only a small learning curve on our specific systems, software and way of doing business. Pay & benefits, location, and teams are all great.
