Well, we'd better be seeing some new baby pics when it happens, mister.

I've been meaning to post this for awhile now...
I'm going to see Green Day in concert in Hartford in late July!!!!!
In 2005, my son told me we should go see Green Day in Hartford. They were playing on my birthday, it was a school night, and I didn't at the time know too many Green Day songs, so I said no. Well, I've kicked myself in the arse for years now. American Idiot was so good, Green Day has become my favorite band, and now with the new CD out 21st Century Breakdown and a tour upcoming, I grabbed my shot at a second chance. Our seats aren't the greatest, but I am so psyched to see them.

Good deal. I would love to see GD.
I saw them once, it was probably the 2005 tour that you missed actually. I'm not a huge fan, but a friend had an extra ticket. Was still a very good show - you will definetly enjoy yourself!
David is a GD fan? I had no idea.
You ought to familiarize yourself with TDT.com's Green Day thread. I recommend starting with post #19. I saw them at one of their small pre-release, pre-tour "guerrilla" concerts in Oakland this past April. Our very own Sarah (Maerlyn) joined me. If you follow the thread, there are links to photos we took, etc.

I plan to see them again on the official tour in Mountain View in mid-August.

Thanks Patrick. Yes, a Sig and a Green Day fan. What else don't we know about each other? LOL

I just checked me ticket stubs and was shocked to realize it was December 1997 when I saw Green Day. I saw them at the Palace in LA which is a pretty small venue so it was a lot a fun, great show.
Hmm..I came in contact with a wonderful bookseller today! After inquiring about some King books he had (making sure that they were indeed fine) he had the nerve to say, " I suggest you deal with another bookseller." Where does he get off? It was fine until I sent the second e-mail. Now I get the idea that he's frustrated with my questions. Oh well, he lost my business.

You said it, Ricky.
If he can't answer a collector's questions - he doesn't deserve your business!

Thats too bad Ricky. I often get the feeling I'm annoying sellers too, but realistically, they should expect it with online sales. Theres too many bad apples out there.
Just bad customer service really.
Yes, it's unfortunate because I've found that it's hard to come by a large amount of reputable dealers online. Even once you do find one, it turns out that they either don't feel like sending photos, answering questions, etc. Some never even reply!
It feels like that because they sell online, they think they can "get away" with avoiding certain business practices. However, would that be the case if it was a brick-and-mortar store? It's doubtful.
A NEW GAME BEGINS
