Let me tell you, that was one of the HARDEST secrets I have ever had to keep! I saw Michael's painting in April and he sent me the image, but I couldn't show it to anybody!!!!! Finally, it's out. Michael originally promised me the painting, but then had to recant his offer as sai King wanted it and the other artwork. MIchael says he will make it up to me in some other way. But, for me, to be immortalized by Michael Whelan in a painting is just too good to be true. I absolutely LOVE it. The detail is just phenomenal, as the painting is no more than 5" x 7".

What a great morning for Yankees fans everywhere! Finally proper order has been restored in baseball with the Yankees winning their 27th World Series. I couldn't be happier. I think maybe I can now read FAITHFUL (knowing that it all comes out OK eventually).
