Now talking about King... I assume a lot of people are excited for the 11.22.63 premier tomorrow? I've heard good things about it. I'm really looking forward to seeing if Hulu can produce like HBO, Netflix, Showtime etc...

Just got back from walking the dog, grabbed a coffee and turned the TV on. Creepshow 2 on cable. Happy days. Watched Shawshank late last night on cable, and stumbled across Christine at lunchtime yesterday....call me butter, because I'm on a roll. It's amazing to think of Kings influence over time, in that a bloke a million miles away can flip on his TV decades later and watch, not one, but 3 movies based on his work....you just can't measure it. I should add that last week I was able to watch back to back Cujo/ Pet Sematary on a Thursday afternoon.....my brother tells me he got "stuck" watching Shawshank on free to air TV Saturday night. He was walking past the TV, saw it was on, and couldn't resist watching it for the umpteenth time, even though it's sitting in his DVD collection. Funny stuff.

Umberto Eco apparently passed away at the age of 84.
I attended a signing a few months ago in Paris, and got a signed copy for Moshe (that never recieved it I believe) and he definitely wasn't looking his age.
Very sad news for Moshe here who was a huge fan and collector.

I got a e-mail from someone at the Stephen King Collector - "svtlocha". I have not posted there in several years and looked this person up - seems just joined and I don't read Russian. I didn't open the e-mail- but read the headers. Looks suspicious. Anyone have any info? For some reason it just set off all my spammer phisher hacker bells.
