i don't know....it just feels right. Maybe it's Roland dancing. Maybe it was the appearance of Andy in the first few pages, or perhaps it was when Oy bows and says Gilead. For me it was just the most emotionally charged book. But I gotta say drawing of the three is a close second.

I see it that way too Zone. I enjoy each of the book separately, but a few times now I have done re-reads of 1-4 as if they were one, then 5-7 as if they were one. the writing and pacing is different in the last three, not in a bad way, just different. the earlier go nicely together, the last three complement one another as well.
