Walter says it's too late to send invitations for the funeral of .net (which is what I was about to do), there's a theory that it is just being transferred to a new server. Anyway, even if it survives (which I hope and pray for), it certainly can't prevent you or me or anyone else from living here, too - it's like acquiring a new beautiful palace, with garden and all, in addition to your old family house which you don't have to part with, either.

How did you discover the Dark Tower?
I was in the Army getting ready to do a tour in Iraq and needed some good reading. This was my second tour and knowing how valuable good books can be over there, I bought the first 4 books in the series. Been hooked on it ever since.

Even thought this is probably the most unoriginal answer, but I have to say Roland.

Favorite all time book is "Without Remorse" by Tom Clancy, but "The Waste lands" is my favorite of the series.

How did you discover the Dark Tower?
I discovered The Gunslinger when I was a freshman in high school and I've been hooked ever since. It was the first King book I had read and after that I couldn't stop.
Who is your favorite charcter?
Wow, that's a hard one. With a series like this it's hard because they don't feel like characters, they feel like people you've known and spent a lot of time with, so they're all up there on my list. But if I had to at least narrow it down it would be either Roland, Jake, or Walter
