Hi everyone! I discovered www.thedarktower.org yesterday and i'm delighted
I'm new to the series and i'm loving it so far (Just read The Gunslinger and about to start The Drawing of The Three).
How did you discover the Dark Tower?
In 2005 a preceptor at my high school lended me The Long Walk, i really loved it. Last year i bought Desperation, and i'm buying king's books since then (mostly in english ^^). That's how i discovered the series.
Who is your favorite character?
I loved the walter, all the chat at the end of the gunslinger was great.
What is your favorite book?
The Gunslinger so far

How did you discover the Dark Tower?
I'm a huge fan of Lost. Way back in season 1 I think, people were comparing some of it to The Dark Tower, so that originally piqued my interest. Then I read The Gunslinger Born and The Long Road Home graphic novels from Marvel and got hooked. I'm reading the books now and I'm about half-way through Wizard and Glass (I started about a month ago and usually I read very slow) and I feel like I'm addicted to them. I dream about the Dark Tower. When I go to work, all I want to do is go back home and read. I'm loving this series.

So far I have to say The Drawing of the Three. I read it in about a week and when I finished it I was so pumped up you would have thought I won the lottery.
