How did you discover the Dark Tower?
I have always been a fan of SK and like him I was a big fan of the Lord of the Rings books. I was at the book store with my wife and the first 4 books were being sold as a series, so I thought I would give them a try. After reading 2 chapters of the Gunslinger I was hooked. I am actually about 150 pages away from finishing the series. I should finish tonight or tomorrow.

Don't worry; you'll meet a lot of friends here. You've already met Matt, who is probably the best thing that has happened to The Dark Tower since Sai King. The rest will come along in time. It's 6AM for me right now, so I can't imagine too many East Coast users will be on anytime soon. But yes, the rest will come along

No worries, King is already talking about "The Dark Tower #8", as well as a sequel to "Black House."Almost done with SoS...only 30 pages left...then...bum bum bum...The Dark Tower...then depression when I am done.
There's always hope a novel will come out with some bearing on the story arc as well.
