I stumbled here whilst looking at DT tattoos and from the looks of it I've found quite a gem
Hello, I'm Samantha. I was lead here through another site by another dt fan. I've tried to get friends to read the books, it never works. So instead I've started looking for people who are already fans.
How did you discover the Dark Tower?
I've been reading King since I was 12, but everyone had compared the dark tower books to lord of the rings and things like that. I'm not a fan of lotr, so I never read the books. Eventually I was 19, unemployed and not sleeping. I needed something to do until 6am, so I started reading them and got hooked.
Who is your favorite charcter?
Probably Eddie. I can't really explain why, I just always liked him.
What is your favorite book?
The Drawing of Three.
How old are you?
21. Young, I know.
Where are you from?
A tourist/military town in South Carolina. I've been here 18 years, but I'd rather be out west somewhere.
Do you have a nickname?
For the internet, it's my username. A spanish friend came up with it when i was 15 or so, and it just stuck. Otherwise, it's just the usual Sam or Sammy.

My brother introduced me to the series, I had read some King before but not loads, it's brought us closer I reckon.

Probably Cuthbert, I can't really put my finger on why...

Wizard and Glass without a doubt, I read it during a brilliant time in my life and the story just engaged me totally.

How did I discover the Dark Tower?
I had been reading King novels for a while when I noticed they started mentioning his other novels before the table of contents and Pet Sematary mentioned The Gunslinger. I searched for over a year before I was able find it. It was like Heroin. Had to have more and waiting years between releases killed me.
Favorite Character?
Roland. I really identify with him on several levels.
