One of the absolute best.
Ask not what bears can do for you, but what you can do for bears. (razz)

bears are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
dammit! DAMMIT DAMMIT!
I thought i had selected Lisey's story. instead I give Duma Key a one! FUCK
4
If it weren't for theanti-climatic ending, I'd give it a 5. I liked almost everything else about this book (except the italics in the "How to Paint a Picture" chapters) but that part of the ending made me question why the hell I read that far to get to something like that. My only other complaint is Wireman. After awhile, it seemed like King really wanted to write another Henry Leyden but couldn't quite flesh it out all the way. The whole Wireman-speak thing got very annoying muchachos y muchachas.Duma Key
5, I absolutely loved it!! I'm enjoying the mature King stories very much.
I gave it a four because of the anticlimactic ending. I actually rather liked Wireman and his "speak"Spoiler:
Another thing that prevented me from giving it a five was the terrible foreshadowing in the book. Never King's strong suit, but it was ridiculous in this one and I think led to the ending being anticlimactic. Sometimes, I just wish he would back off in this regard. I have my own theory about why he does it this way, but mayhap that's for another thread.
Not a bad book when it comes to the mature King, as Lisa puts it.
5 all the way!
The answer is within
all matter is energy, all energy is GOD
By all accounts this sounds like a great novel. I'll get to it soon.
5 One of my favorite King stories.
Only the gentle are ever really strong.
A true firewasp ninja would never wear such a ridiculous sweater.
There's logic in nonsense.
Give me all the bacon and eggs you have.
This one os a total 5. If you don't believe it, hire someone to read it to you again. Better yet, get your eyes checked, you didn't read the same book we did.
Margaret Emmie Mackey Catoe, you are, have been, and always will be my soulmate, and I love you.
Con todo mi corazon, por todo de mis dias. And I always will, in this life and into the next.

I gave this a 4. I wasn't to keen on the ending, but LOVED everything else. Since there's not a 4.5 option, 4 it was.
I have owned this book for nearly a year and have yet to open it. I don't know why.
All that's left of what we were is what we have become.
5 all the way...reminded me of how Sai King used to write....
A definite 5 for me, liked this one a lot!
another 1. seriously has he written anything in the past few years that i've liked? i'm starting to wonder now that we're doing these polls. thank gan for rereads.
It should've been a 4, but I gave it a 5 because I think I was unfair to some books earlier in the game. Oh, I'm terrible.
Not too surprising that DK is going to win this bracket (and not just because it's the only recent King book I enjoyed).
I need to hurry up and finish this one so I can vote! (But I think I already know what my vote is going to be).

I hope so.
