Where's the high dollar? Did it fall off and slide under the bookcase?
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.

And the people bowed and prayed, to the cell phone god they made...

"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King

There are some pics in my collection thread, Patrick. An anonymous source actually sent me what appears to be two very nice bookcases. I hope to get the assembled some time this week.

I'm guessing that's a good thing lol. I Googled the name but apparently there are several types or models of these. I should be able to dive into them tomorrow and see what's what.

Oh yea! I have one more to put together tonight maybe. It took me 5 hours to put that one together! Albeit I'm very slow and meticulous when it comes to this sort of thing. It was a learning experience for sure and I learned that you don't necessary have to go step by step per the instructions. You can do a lot of the prep work out of order and only be left with 3 or 4 big pieces to put together. Shouldn't take as long the second time out.

So, Adam, in short lol. I plan to separate my collection into these cases and ones like them with King, Hill, and miscellaneous. I collection certain comics too so might have to dedicate a case to them as well. I'm sure it'll get rearranged several times before it's where I want it.

I'm sure this has been discussed here before - but for those with barristers or with Ikea Billy Bookcases with glass doors, if you're in a room with lots of natural light are you still concerned about sun damage through the glass? Has anyone applied the UV film to the glass for piece of mind?

    **Edit**
Looking through this thread and I've found that not only have I asked this before, but there was a considerable discussion about it. I, apparently - have the memory of a goldfish. Please ignore me.
