I was under the impression that it only meant "30 years old", but anyway, you're up
I wish more people would watch more Kurosawa. He is awesome.

Only anime I can still watch is Akira and Gundam Wing (which coincidentally I just started watching again). Something about anime now I just don't care for. Sure some of it is real good...I just get put off by all the anime about weird creatures and cat people and super powers and such. Not even much for live action with that stuff I suppose I grew out of what I was exposed too. I keep getting told watch Porco Rossi but a pig man...deters me.

Yes, he did. Chronological film making is rare.

Thanks, Mattrick.
Okay, here's one .... What actress/actor is the only person to have been nominated for an Academy Award posthumously, in two different years?

Damnit, Pam. I know this! I can't remember though.
A NEW GAME BEGINS
Here's a hint, forget about the two different years part, if you like - they are the only person nominated post-humously twice!

Not that i've ever seen any of his films, but....James Dean? 1955 and 1956?

You got it, DD !!
Well done. Dean was nominated for the Best Actor Award for East of Eden and for Giant, both after his untimely death.
Such a loss of talent, I cannot imagine what might have been, had he had the chance.
You have the feather, my friend.... and you might think about catching any of his three movies!

Oh, absolutely! If ever I see any of his films on telly, i'll be sure to catch 'em!
What was so ironic of Richard E. Grant playing the role of raging alcoholic Withnail in his first film Withnail and I?
