Never seen it.
I'd be willing to bet my mom knows the answer, but I'm more willing to bet she doesn't want to be woken up to answer a trivia question.

The Man In Black Fled Across The Desert...

Remember, Remember, The Fifth of November, The Gunpowder, Treason, and Plot.
It's a sweet little Disney flick, from the golden age of Disney, when Haley Mills was the biggest child actor of the time!
Harken back, if you will.

One of my favorite movie lines ever because it perfectly expresses how I too feel about the Eagles. I also like to use it applied to the football team in addition to the band.
New question soon.
Next question...
In Kill Bill Vol. 2, according to Budd, how much is a 'priceless' Hattori Hanzo sword worth in El Paso?
$200?

Correct Sarah.
I love that exchange between Bill and Budd.
Bill: "You hocked a Hattori Hanzo sword? It's priceless."
Budd: "Not in El Paso it ain't. In El Paso I got $200 for it."
You're up.
Quentin Tarantino has many directing trademarks. Name two that he does in Jackie Brown.

One is quite obvious, the point-of-view shot from the trunk of a car.
For me another hallmark of Tarantino's direction are the direct homages he makes to other films which he likes (some people call them stealing). In Jackie Brown he directly references The Graduate (the opening scene in LAX), Sharky's Machine (the use of "Street Life" on the soundtrack), and Coffy (the poster for the film is a direct copy of the poster for Coffy, not to mention casting Pam Grier) as well as several other films.
He also seems to like to revitalize the careers of actors he likes such as Travolta in Pulp Ficition, Forester and Grier in Jackie Brown, Carradine in Kill Bill.
Am I there yet, or do you want the more obscure like the constant presence of the shots of the female leads barefoot? We saw Mia Wallace barefoot in Pulp Fiction. We see both Jackie and Melanie barefoot in Jackie Brown. We see Beatrix barefoot in Kill Bill. QT likes ladies' feet.
well done Jayson, well done!! Thank you. you're up.

Ok, sorry for the delay. Here is a new question.
Let's return to Kill Bill, and our friend Budd. All of the DiVAS had snake-related nicknames. What was Budd's?
Not a very difficult one but I am quite tired.
I think I know this but I'm not positive
I had my infatuations, but we both know in our hearts who is the sole love of my short, bright life.
Go ahead and guess.
Sidewinder?

Correct! Budd was Sidewinder. I liked that Bill was Snake Charmer. Nice touch from QT.
You're up.
It's late and I'm so exhausted and I'm drawing a complete blank. Take this one for me R of G!

Ok, I will think of something, but if you're the one to get it right, you're on your own next time.
Deal8)

And away we go...
In The African Queen (my dad's fav film of all time), who was the only person to make it down the river before Charlie and Rose and why did he go downriver?
