So after looking at all my orders, emails and invoices....I never did freakin' order a Cemetery Dance SALEM'S LOT gift edition. With ordering so many things recently from eBay, PS, folks here, CD, and Betts...it just slipped my mind thinking I had ordered one.

Anyone out there have an extra for sale at a not killer price??

Night Shift is in production, and the cover artwork is finished and 1/2 of the 20 or so interiors are done. The Stand is starting into production and many paintings have been completed, but there is A LOT of work to go with this one. Pet Sematary is also in the early stages of production and the artist has sent us some awesome sketches.

I have done some high end math ratio calculations based on the width of the original books and the newly released Doubleday Years Artist Editions. My calculations have some margin for error as we only have 2 books to go by currently, plus the estimated width of 'The Shining' from CD's website, but I'm fairly sure that i'm within 2-4% of the final width of the Stand.

Will CD compensate buyers with a large bookcase with doors to put it on display? It obviously won't fit in a bookcase that I currently own. And the gift edition, well, I'm hoping it is much smaller .

No, but can we know what it is?

We offered the Cemetery Dance Collectors Club members a special bundle we put together every 3 to 4 years. This bundle includes a bluelines printer proof, cover binding approval proof, and a printer's stamping die from projects we've published. We also try to find a something else "unusual" that the general public wouldn't have for the bundle. In this case, we had done test runs of two possible Stephen King promotional items for SK books we were publishing years ago, but for various reasons we never went forward with the promotions. So those "test" items have just been boxed away in storage. Now, they'll be out there in the hands of some collectors who will actually love them.

Here is the actual write-up about those two particular items:

* An IT by Stephen King Promotional Magnet featuring Pennywise the Clown artwork -- we produced a test run of these promotional magnets, but ended up not going forward with the promotion. These have never been seen outside our office and no more will ever be created!

* A custom printed notebook to promote The Secretary of Dreams by Stephen King -- we produced a test run of these promotional notebooks for a possible "write your own scary story" contest/promotion that we never moved forward with. These have never been seen outside our office and no more will ever be created!
