No Shannon! In fact all those other books you see in bookstores are really ALL Stephen King books written using so far undiscovered pen names.
If you like anthologies go for A Book of Horrors. I think it came out very nicely, and there's a King story in it.
I never understood pre-ordering books (unless you really want to guarantee a first printing) that will be readily available at the bookstore on the release. I guess it works if you want them shipped to your house, but I've never felt the urgency to pre-order a new release.

Why did I pre-order Screamplays from CD? Because I used a 50% off coupon on it, and I'll get free shipping. I will also be one of the first people to receive the book.
Why did I pre-order This Book Is Full of Spiders: Seriously, Dude, Don't Touch It from Amazon? Because I'm getting it for $16 including two-day shipping, and because I was a fan of the first book (John Dies at the End) and I want to support the author by pushing the book up the charts.
Why did I pre-order Strange Embrace and 69 Barrow Street from Subterranean Press? Because I heard they were going to a second printing after only 2000 copies.
Why did I pre-order Skylanders: The Machine of Doom for my Kindle? Because the Kindle version was coming out several months before the paperback, and I figured my kids would want to read it at the earliest date possible. Pre-ordering meant I didn't need to remember when the book was coming out.
Sounds perfectly logical in those instances.
Well personally, there is a certain satisfaction for me in knowing that the base has been covered and a true 1/1 guaranteed. Avoids any "Oops'" If you know what I mean.
