Dragline : Nothin'. A handful of nothin'. You stupid mullet head. He beat you with nothin'. Just like today when he kept comin' back at me - with nothin'.
Luke : Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
I'll say congratulations Oy !!
What a great piece of art !!
The link goes to a blank "Product not found" page now that OTB bought the item.
Congrats!
Can you post a picture, Dave, for those who might have missed it?

Well, since it's been scooped up - it can't be displayed anymore. Can't wait to see it as part of Dave's collection!
You gotta be fast around here, folks !

Here it is, I know I should not have incurred the debt right now but I figure there are not that many originals out there to be had. I am afraid glare made it hard to get a good shot.
Congratulations, David!
Awesome buy Oy!. Congrats. Would love to see it framed too when it's done.
It's a great buy, Dave.
If you have to go to debters prision, what better for than an original?!?
It's a wonderful addition to your collection.
Personally, I love when someone here grabs up a great item!

Before I go post in the "New Pride & Joy" thread, I want to try to verify that it's not something to be posted in the "New Embarrassment & Shame" thread.
I received a 1st/1st of Cycle of the Werewolf apparently signed by Berni.
I tried to compare the sig to others in the catalog, but he seems to be all over the place so I have no clue.
These are what I tried to use to compare. some seem dead on, some seem like a totally different person signed.

What do the experts think, is this genuine or no?

It looks authentic to me. As you say, his signature varies quite a bit from book to book. I also suspect his signature isn't frequently forged as it doesn't add that much value to any particular book. I collect Peter Straub and his signature also varies quite a bit but is infrequently forged for the same reason.
Gris,
It's good. I have a few from Bernie like that. He's all over the place with his sig, that's for sure.
In your copy, his sig flows very well.
