Adumbros: bangoskank1 was the guy who got kicked off the site for impersonating stephen king... he was very generous and giving but ultimately his "joke" went too far...But the reason why I asked if it was his site was primarily because when he responded to matt via e-mail his e-mails were full of typos and grammatical errors, and seeing as the aforementioned website is full of such errors, I thought of bangoskank1.

Some of those you list are pretty bad inaccuracies Adumbros, in fairness. You'd expect a King/DT fan to a bit more thorough in his research before listing links that don't exist.
yeah, no doubt. that's my gripe. it'd be like me claiming to be on the same level as Brice in fandom but then not knowing who Richard Bachman is.

That sites been around since the dawn of man (okay since I first started reading the DT series). I'd sit there and read the stuff he has for the book connections, whilest thinking to myself "How the hell is half this crap connected?!?"

King wasn't telling the entire truth in his foreword to Blaze, even thought it's titled Full Disclosure. The Cannibals and Under the Dome WAS/IS the same story, althought two different approaches. King himself said that on his site not many months ago.
The only thing that really still bugs me is an e-mail conversation I had last year with either David Rawsthorne or Rocky Wood (can't remember who).
In their CD-ROM (Complete Guide to SK) and their book (Uncollected, Unpublished) they detail and review the filmed and aired version of "Chinga" (you know, the version Chris Carter rewrote at great lenght). But they claim it's King's original script they're reviewing, which it's clearly not (King's script is longer and much better than the filmed version, less Chucky, more Firestarter).
I told him that (David or Rocky) and asked if he even had King's own original first draft script, not the tampered Carter rewrite. He did have King's version, they all had, so I asked him why it wasn't reviewed. I don't recall his answer directly, but the bottom line of my rambling post here (and sorry about that) is that all of the three researchers (David, Rocky and Woods) are without a doubt very serious, dedicated and exhaustive researchers (and in many cases experts) on many things King (not literary writers, that's for sure, they're no Bev Vincent or Stephen Spignesi), but again, on some occasions (like the "Chinga" confusion) they seem to be wandering in errors and confusion, so I got confused.

s'all good. i'm kinda past this rant now. it just seemed to eat at me something fierce for a while, but oh well, we all make mistakes, and claiming to be 100% king fan #1 was his.
