    The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon and Faithful come to mind. There were in house proofs but none that were made to send out to reviewers.

    This is the only Signet proof I know of. There are a few Plume proofs (for DT paperbacks) but no Signets I think. I'd say this is about what a nice copy is worth - they're not super scarce.

    *edit:I should add that I have no idea why they decided to issue proofs for paperback editions of existing titles.
