To the back of the line!

I've never received a shrink-wrapped ARC from a publisher. They don't treat them as collectables. I often get them in underpadded mailers or stiff cardboard envelopes.
Here's the (unopened) package for the ARC of On Writing that I have.
John
Open it, Hutch!
Good stuff, John.

Its easy to say open it when its not yours ! SO.....open it up Hutch !!
Honestly though not sure if i would want to either but i also would be curious, not to mention like someone said, it can always be re-shrinkwrapped.
Advance uncorrected proof of an interesting anthology called THE SPIRIT OF WRITING, published in 2001. Many very famous authors. King's entry is his introduction to SKELETON CREW in which he tells why writing, for him, is not about the money. I enjoyed reading this again since it had been years since I read it. Interesting reading. I recommend you get your copy of SKELETON CREW and reread the introduction too. I think you will enjoy it.
Here is a group of proofs:
THE BEST AMERICAN SPORTS WRITING 1991 - First book appearance of "Head Down" (I think) preceding NIGHTMARES & DREAMSCAPES.
THE HORROR HALL OF FAME - 1991 - "The Reach"
PULP FRICTIONS - UK anthology with proof dj - 1996 - "The Fifth Quarter"
Warning - Annoying (and probably boring) Autobiographical Story follows -
I first came across this last book as a Barnes & Noble reprint in 1997 titled PULP FICTIONS (not FRICTIONS as the UK book is titled). I saw that the book had been previously published in the UK by Souvenir Press. I think I searched for over a year on ABE for a copy but I couldn't find one anywhere. I thought it must be the rarest UK anthology around. I'm not sure when I discovered that I was searching under the wrong title!
Bob, those all are AMAZING! I've never even heard of any of those.
John
Thanks, John. I know they don't appeal to everyone but I figured you (and a few others) would like to see them. None of them cost more than $20-$25 and I just really like collecting them.
Next week I'll put up some photos of an item that I predict will really knock your socks off. Something really rare and possibly one-of-a-kind. (No, it's not the CARRIE proof but almost as good).
Next week?! Bob, you're such a tease!
Thanks for sharing those proofs, items that most people don't even know exist are always interesting!

I'm glad to see everyone has priorities!
John
With that, I have a guess.
John
With that, I have... no idea.

The only thing I know of that Bob doesn't have is King himself.
Wait a minute, Bob, why does your basement door have so many locks on it?
