Seriously! You don’t know who got it? ]. The very first, oldest and only state of King's first novel [
Really? Only known state? ]! I am sure a few of you know who owns it now! [
Is this rhetorical, or do you really expect intelligent members here to believe you don’t know, even though you were standing next to him last Tuesday in Florida. ] has to be worth more than the original Salems Lot cover? [
Wow, now you are really showing your ignorance.] Right? Only one known copy vs 5. [
Okey dokey, you really are the voice of the serious King collector.]
Seriously Glenn, although I have never met you, nor would I want to, I am at a complete loss to try to understand why you made such a stupid, pointless post. It is obvious you are the un-elected President of the Matthew Fisher Fan Club, and while you most certainly could care less, three weeks into the new year, a man lost his job because of the way that sale was handled.
I was going to keep this to myself, because I know the other members of his fan club here (who are rewarded with free gifts from time to time) will no doubt jump to his defense since his self-imposed exile due to health reasons (bullshit!). Matt (Lot Guy) is not a collector, will never start a Collection thread, no matter how many times he is asked, and will stop at nothing to get rare items for next to nothing, so that he can flip them immediately to you all for profit. Plain and simple.
After the first sale of the Carrie Proof (it’s not a manuscript Glenn, do you not know the difference? Coincidentally, there is a member here that does have a copy of the First Draft Manuscript, signed, and I’ve seen it) was cancelled, because the employee unknowingly listed a Buy It Now at Matt’s request for a ridiculously low price, without his bosses approval, Matt’s emails and calls of abuse just started, and continued through the night to the next day. When he convinced them that eBay’s Legal Department (does NOT exist) agreed that the sale could not be cancelled (it COULD), and impending legal action would be swiftly pursued, it resulted in the owners reluctance to honor the sale, and led to the employee’s dismissal. Matt’s offer of a free gift was graciously rejected because he had more important matters to deal with.
So Glenn, you can take a piece of tissue paper, and clean the brown off your nose, and walk around with your head high supporting a pariah that acts without remorse. Karma does exist in this world, is swift, and comes seven-fold.

Dear 2011fahi,
Hi,
please give her my best and final offer of 6000 which is twice what the agreed upon amount was. If not I will proceed with eBay as I need to protect myself due to this was a legally binding contract at the 3000 yet I was trying to make us all happy. I hope we can finish this up.I am NOT trying to be a pain but I am pretty upset as you can imagine and would prefer to complete the sale vs going the legal route with eBay, as this would hurt feedback and the ability to continue selling.after reviewing the messages in the sale eBay s legal department views in my favor as we had contract. as I said I am willing to go higher to make everybody happy but the legal route with eBay they ll go with original contract of 3000 as that was the legally binding contract that was breached and the reason for cancellation as they said was not deemed legal cause for backing out. let s please work together and walk away witplease let me know how to proceed, I hope all is well.
Sincerely,
Matt
