FDNS in HB is around $6 at Barnes and Noble.

Is it me or does everyone get a receipt for $6.66 when you buy a remainder priced SK book using your BandN card?

The Trade PB is also cheap there.

Is the book $5.98, or $6.00?
    If it is $5.98, I pay $5.98 x .90 x1.0825=$5.82

I've seen a couple copies of Just After Sunset recently on the Remainder shelves at my B&N. I'll keep an eye out, Krystle.

Saw Colorado Kid copies for $5.98 at B&N. They had possible 1sts and copies with "NY Times Bestseller.." on top. They also seemed over sized.

I seen those at B&N in person yesterday. There are over sized versions and the originals so you have to look carefully

Stopped at BN today and they had remaindered DTVI and DTVII trade paperbacks 6.95 and Bag of Bones trade paperback 5.95, but not first printings.

They also had Gunslinger: The Long Road Home graphic novel for 6.95

Of more interest, they had Bev Vincent's The Stephen King Illustrated Companion 2nd printing (without all the ephemera) for $12.95

It happens in Europe as well. The book publisher's representative goes to the shop and "marks" the books as "remaindered". The bookstore gets credit for each book marked. Sometimes the bookstore has to rip off the front page of a paperback to get a credit from the publisher. The kind of thing same thing happens with left over newspapers.

That's the second edition. There was a second printing of the first edition, both with the removable assets. There's only been one printing of the second edition, which has updates to the text and a new chapter. All are relatively scarce.

    Books-A-Million had...

FDNS on discount without a remainder mark for $7.97. (I didn't need another)

Paperback 1st of 11/22/63 for $6.97. They were remaindered but I found one that wasn't.

A Memory of Light by Robert Jordan & Brandon Sanderson, signed by Sanderson for $7.97. No mark.

The Twelve UK 1st by Justin Cronin for $6.97. No mark

    I love the discount section!

They also had the Marvel Hardcover Gunslinger books for under $5 but they were all remaindered.

I never used to look there, but did one time, and was really surprised at the deals you can find. Now whenever I visit the store, it's the first place I go.
