I'm certain that Mr. R.T. is randy, but he's not Randy!
Wow. I'm gone for a couple of weeks on vacation, and soooo many cool new items!
Congrats everyone!

Remember, Remember, The Fifth of November, The Gunpowder, Treason, and Plot.
Yes, it's new Pride & Joy time.
First of all, thanks to Batsker (Steve) for this book. For a long time there was a SONG OF SUSANNAH Artist Edition-shaped emptiness on my DT shelf and now the void is filled (as they say, 'nature abhors a vacuum' so what other choice did I have than to pull out my wallet and buy me a copy?):
Then I'd like to thank Mr. Rabbit Trick for this proof. Not one of the scarcer ones but a very nice copy (and I just couldn't resist getting at least one more proof of his collection now that he's selling). The US GERALD'S GAME proof:
The kind people at The Overlook Connection sent me this cool promo DJ (#512 of 1000):
And I got a book that rightfully belongs here as well as in the 'Awesome Deal' thread. I mentioned it last week and it arrived swiftly on the other side of the Big Pond. A 2nd (?) printing of 'SALEM'S LOT (gutter code Q41 instead of Q37) with an amazing 2nd state dust jacket! This beauty cost me a little over $38 plus shipping.

DJ damage (hardly any, if you ask me):
Thats a great looking Salem's Lot dustjacket!!!
Awesome! Congrats!
It always feels good to fill a blank space on your collection shelf !!
Way to go!

Nice...the seller (unfortunately for them) didn't realize the dustjacket by itself would be worth more than $38. You could toss the book in the trash, and it's just as great a deal.
I've just receied Whispers in top condition. I got it for 60 bucks. Really cute book!

I posted earlier that I have decided to collect outside of King. Here is my first buy.
It was a nice surprise to see that other than the signing, the book does not appear to ever have been opened. Not so much a pride and joy, but it did make my day.
Btw, on the back is written publication dte : october

Very nice, dude!
I got the Japanese Riding The Bullet with red lettered text on the cover. I now have both versions of this book.
Bob, did this come with a slipcase originally? I'm just wondering cause the slipcase that came with mine is designed so it could hold a slightly taller book. I was wondering if it came with it or was an after market one.
