Dragline : Nothin'. A handful of nothin'. You stupid mullet head. He beat you with nothin'. Just like today when he kept comin' back at me - with nothin'.

Courtesy of Jerome, an absolutely pristine, finer than fine Gunslinger dustjacket. It's in such good condition that I'm rather reluctant to even touch it.
Thanks Jerome. You're a star.

Jerome, I think it would look nicer on MY wall!!
Barry, happy to see you got the book!!!
Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think.
Just received a nice signed copy of Insomnia ! traded one nice book for another so i am happy !
With the help of another King collector friend I finally got the other copy I was looking at. According to the publishing info here, Danse Macabre came out in April, 81 so this pre-publication inscription is also very early. Other than a tiny tear at the top of the spine and a little rubbing to a couple corners it's one of the nicer DJs I've seen too. Danse Macabre, along with Pet Semetary seem to be very difficult DJs to find without any flaws.
I guess it all comes down to a simple choice for me. "Get Busy Living, or Get Busy Dying".
Very nice!

That is another nice one, Greg, with a VERY early dated inscription. My notes (definitely unofficial) have April 20,1981 as the official publication date.
I've got a proof inscribed to David Hartwell dated 2/26/81 and a first trade edition inscribed to Peter Schneider dated 4/14/81.
I really love to search for the earliest dates I can find and I can see that you do too. Congratulations!
Nice...the recipient is much more impressive than the date....
Congrats, Greg! Very cool.
