I don’t own any Charnel House books but they look to be consistently some of the nicest productions in the industry. Congrats!

Last Call Lettered by Tim Powers is considered by many to be a "Holy Grail" book. Congratulations!
That looks to be a fantastic edition. Congratulations!
What’s the story with the folded $2 note? Is it a bookmark included with the book, or is it pasted in?

Congrats!!!! BIG aquisition here!!
Such a beautiful book.
I'm sure most people here know, but for those who don't: Charnel House is the designer and publisher of the famed lettered edition of The Regulators.
This book came out 4 years before The Regulators and I believe that it won a book design award, though I can't remember which one and Google isn't being particularly helpful right now. It's the first book by Charnel House to have something embedded in the boards (well, maybe the second if you count Ray Garton's The New Neighbor which had a section of the boards covered with garter material). The Regulators was the second/third.
Joe Stefko (the proprietor) was one of the first publishers to really experiment with embedding interesting materials into the front boards. This book has a tarot card and two actually-used poker chips from a casino prominent in the book embedded in the wonderful green Morocco leather.
The endpapers are from sheets of uncut $1 bills and the signature page is made from a sheet of uncut $2 bills.
It's a groundbreaking masterpiece.
Very nice everyone! Congrats!

It’s actually not folded - it’s a cut $2 bill and it was in the book as a bookmark - not pasted in (it’s loose). Having never seen other pics of it before I presume it was originally placed as a bookmark. I have a few crisp $2 bills - now I know where I can store them...

Very happy to find this waiting for me when I got home. Can we also take a moment to admire this epic cover art? I've wanted this ever since seeing it on this site for the first time. I'm officially onboard the Cemetery Dance train now
