Wow, that's some amazing "awesome deals" out there! Mine would be a Father Cody 'Salem's Lot for $3 at a college book sale (Gettysburg College in PA). It has a crease on the cover, some chipping on the spine, and a magic marker write-out on the title page, but other than that it's in good condition. I'd say that that was an "awesome deal"! Still can't believe it was just sitting on the table when I found it!
OK, OK... the "Pride and Joy" thread was on the second page, people! Can't have that!
J.N. Williamson's "Illustrated Masques" - Lettered "XX" edition signed by the artists and the authors... More photos in my collection thread.
I picked up a copy of the Phantasia Press edition of William Gibson's Neuromancer a year or so ago. The seller said it had a slipcase, but wasn't the signed edition. Once it arrived, I checked the back, to see a very nice signature and number.... I certainly didn't mind paying an eighth of the going price for the signed/limited.
Just received this NF copy of Roadwork. More pics in my collection thread.
Very nice. I hope to get all the Bachman books someday. Who knows when, but I hope it happens.
Just received:
And this is an item I love to own. This copy of Gerald's Game is signed to the late Jonathan Demme:
And finally, an item that I though I could get a great deal and nope...not this time. I bought for $40 the limited edition of F&SF magazine with The Bear and even when it comes with better paper and everything, it's not signed by King.

I love seeing what everyone has acquired lately. Vicarious living!

You can still buy the special edition (unsigned) here for $15!
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
Yeap, I still fill dumb but well...shit happens.

I'm the caretaker of Room 217..............I've always been the caretaker of Room 217
Thanks. That's what I understand. Since there were no formal signings for this. But now I have the complete set .
Very cool, mate, it’s a good feeling to have this trilogy Flatsigned. Nicely done..
Thanks Antoni. Yea. It's a cool feeling. But as I said before, having a 1st/1st Salems' Lot and 3 Asbestos Fire Starter's must feel pretty good too.
But thanks. I am doing what I can.
So, this new one did not cost me a penny. Yesterday, my wife's friend comes by after doing an early spring cleaning of her cellar. Turns out she and her husband visited Bangor 25 years ago and purchased this signed limited edition print. Not sure who Richard A. Manzo is? She thinks she bought it at the old Bett's bookstore. She gave it to me. Never saw one before. Kinda cool.
No idea who Richard Manzo is but I own one of those too! I bought mine on eBay years ago for maybe $50.
