Agree with OneFathom....still elusive numbered #296 Dameron Waste Lands portfolio....am NOT interested in say owning other Grant #296 like Christine, Desperation, Talisman, Black House etc....does nothing for me with those numbers...I'm a Dark Tower guy forever.

I totally "lucked" into finding W&G UK and Gunslinger tapes either through ABE.com or eBay some years ago...just happened to see them for sale and bought them.

Yes, that's a real rarity. I wonder how many are in collector's hands? I bet no more than 5.

The 15 lettered editions were for private distribution by Stephen King. Of the less than 15 he gave away (I presume he kept one for himself), only ~ 5 have ever made it into the public's hands.

Beautiful art grabs everyone. I was so tempted to make a request to Tim for one of his originals. I'm glad people here grabbed them....and envious .

Bob had/has 2 copies (at least). One copy was sold (or made available for sale) around 4-6 years ago. The tissue was not original and there was something else (very trivial) that caused it to be less than F/F. There was also the copy on ABE that David alluded to above. I don't know who bought CC's copy (probably Bob) but that's another copy in collector's hands. So there are a few out there. But like it's been mentioned (Alan, RF and Kris), those copies are VERY hard to find.

Thanks Becca. The seller said that his mother used to work with the manager at the Doubleday store in NYC back in the 1980s and 1990s, and was able to obtain alot of signed books as a result if their friendship. I also have a signed Insomnia that came from that store.
