New additions last week.
I still didn't have a copy of this title, now I do. It's smaller than I thought!
Also found a pretty scarce Turtleback edition of Creepshow. It turned out to be a ex-library copy, so it took me hours to clean from the stickers and things. Now it looks kinda okay.
Nice adds, people!
I like to collect the Turtlebacks of books that weren't released as hardcovers. I wasn't even aware of the Creepshow.

Nice P&Js everyone!

Last weekend I was able to attend a small event where Argentinean artist Santiago Caruso was present signing books, selling prints and doing small remarques. For those that don't know him, he worked with a couple of US publishers such as Dark Regions, Centipede Press (he'll illustrate the upcoming edition of The Yellow King (Chambers)). I really admire a lot his talent and artwork and encourage everyone to see for yourself here:

Anyway, I was able to attend a small event on Saturday where I got a couple of books he illustrated, a print and he did a small remarque on a very nice copy of Clive Barker's Books of Blood I have for which he did the cover artwork:
The remarque is related to the cover artwork of the book:
Cover artwork:
Two days before the event, I received the following:
I can't thank Ralph enough for the items and the gift! A true gentleman!
The Colorado Kid has a nice remarque. I already have Chadbourne's version remarqued so I'm missing a JK Potter's remarqued one and remarqued set is completed.
Only $24 got me Stinger S/L

Very cool, Jon big congrats! Though I must say the skeletons doing it doggy style kind of diminishes the classy feel of it a bit.
Very lovely, and a fantastically appropriate frame!
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
