Very cool Rick!
Very cool Rick!
^Very interesting, it looks like bottom part about his favourite book was added after.
Not to jinx myself (someone will end up topping mine), but I am expecting something pretty cool.
My New P & J just arrived...
more pics on my collection thread...
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King

I do love that white slipcase. Congrats Simon!
There was an article by David McDonnell with the title "The once and future King" where there are some comments by King about that hypotetical sequel. Ben and Mark are living in England and they start to receive calls from his mother saying she's alive. And Callahan was in another city in USA and an almost-dead man approaches him and asks him to bless him. When Callahan tells him he's no longer a priest, the person tells him that it's not over in Salem's Lot.

Found it!
Source: http://doaav.blogspot.com.ar/2010/12...ot-sequel.html. . . I know what the sequel will be. It's just a question of when I find the time . . .
Should I give you a preview? Ben Mears and [Mark Petrie] are now living in England, where Ben is doing the screenplay to one of his books . . . [Mark's] in school. While Ben is in his studio, [Mark] comes home, makes dinner and begins to get calls via transatlantic cable - from his mother.
'I'm still alive . . .' she says. 'You must come back to the Lot . . . They're hurting me.' And eventually he does go back. Ben follows him.
Father Callahan will come back, too. He's working in a Detroit soup kitchen, and this dying bum comes in: 'Father, you've got to bless me.' 'I'm not a priest anymore,' he says. The bum is gugling out his last words, 'It's not over in Salem's Lot yet.' And believe me, it isn't! (52)²

Spring cleaning that included inventorying some of my SK items. I found this set about a decade ago and didn't think there were many collector's who had the #1 (or "A") of the deluxe edition and #1 of the numbered edition. I don't own a copy of the black I of XV edition. It's on the back burner of the bucket list, though. I hope that the pics are decent. I'll have more pics of signed copies that you don't often see very soon.

I knew someone would usurp my NEW P&J.
Thanks Johnny007.
Great stuff but it should have been in your collection thread if it's been sitting around for a decade to be inventoried.
<----------------Tucks tail between legs and says "fuck it, why bother trying to show something BRAND NEW", of course someone would "collect block" me.
Very nice everybody !!
Love it, John!!
And I'm back! Great stuff everyone!
