Well said Curt, and nice score Tippy!
Not to mention CREEPSHOW was a great love letter to EC comics, a huge influence on many a young baby-boomer who would go on to redefine the horror & sci-fi genres in books and film.

Love the copy of Creepshow, congrats!
I've reached out to Rick to see if he'll sell me his new acquisition and rectify my dire situation. It's a pretty sweet book.

Haha! I'm never mad in my posts (all of the exclamation points aside). I just like making broad sweeping generalizations based on my personal and potentially (okay, most likely) not thought out opinion as my fingers fly across the keys on my computer.
You are ALL collectors to me! I was just kidding. I keed. I keed.

"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
You guys in the U.K. are the best.

[QUOTE=CurtSeattle;977365]I believe CREEPSHOW is a MUST HAVE for any real King collector. I mean even if you never look at any of the other comic books or "promo" items or proofs, etc... No way some people can justify a 1st/1st Carrie or a number of other "normal" King books due to the cost...they want them at least. If you say you are a King collector and you don't have CREEPSHOW (I even feel myself forced to type it in all caps), then I don't think you are even trying to a be a King collector. Such a perfect example of King stories and mind at a critical time in his career and showing that he was willing to venture from his comfort zone and delight his fans.
What can I say?
True 1st (not a after market Xerox)
THANK YOU...& I DO consider myself a King Collector.
Love it!! I consider The Naked Gun and Airplane to be two of my favorite movies. I've also met Leslie Nielsen a few times. To have something signed by both him and Stephen King would be awesome!
Then this ones for you....From the French Hardcover.
That's fantastic!!
Are you selling???
The only way my collection will be sold is....Spoiler:
what is the book?^
Love the Nielsen-signed stuff!
