I just acquired a very rare item for my Dark Tower collection...a Lettered Legends..."SS" Not that I was DYING to own one of these, but I've been collecting King/Dark Tower for 25 years more or less and I THINK this is the only copy I have ever seen for sale (or at least been for sale where I had a chance to buy it). Legends, in my opinion, is a "sleeper" limited in that while it is first appearance of the story "Little Sisters of Eluria", there were only 125 S/Ls produced and only 50 Lettered copies. I've owned an S/L for a number of years now and while the Lettered edition is indistinguishable from the S/L other than having Letters instead of numbers on the limitation page, the fact that these never come up for sale of course made me want to find and acquire one. I know at least one member here owns a Lettered copy (likely more of them among members here), but there are some huge names that contributed stories to this book, not the least of which is George R. R. Martin of Game of Thrones fame.
I am thrilled to now own this book as part of my Dark Tower collection...here is a picture of the limitation page...the book and slipcase are minty fresh!!
Dragline : Nothin'. A handful of nothin'. You stupid mullet head. He beat you with nothin'. Just like today when he kept comin' back at me - with nothin'.
Luke : Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
Now that is a cool suprise, Michaël! A book signed by Jon Hill
Very nice Legends, David. Congrats! Now I almost want to collect the Legends books again. I always told myself not to.
That's amazing David! Legends is a truly noteworthy anthology, many of the biggest names in genre fiction are included, several of which haved passed on since it's publication.
I agree-it is underrated. VERY small print run for the S/L also.
Very nice David!!! Cool on the Joe Hill exchange across the pond!!!
Very nice acquisition, David!

I'm up-to-date again with the WHSmith collection. Thanks to Jon!

Absolutely love the WHSmith covers!

Found another one of the original 19!!
Thanks Dave.
OMG! That is a fantastic remarque!!!!
Do you know much Ned Dameron charges for a remarque like this one, or any of the other original 19?
Damn! That's very impressive!!
see My Collection Thread for the story behind this amazing art...
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
Gorgeous Remarque! Congrats, Tim!

Couldn't pass up a good deal on a new bobble head. I think he looks good right in front of Blockade Billy.
Just added to my collection a few french fanzines. The funny thing is they were created by someone whose website I took over about 15 years ago.
I am still missing a few, but I added 3 from the end of 90s. It seem that there were 100 copies of each at the time.
# 15 & 16 :
And this one. It is a bonus to the #18, and is called "Top Secret" for a simple reason. It reprints a screenplay for which they didnt have the copyright to do so...
I hope that it wont bring troubles to anyone for mentionning this.
Here can be found the issues I have, and those I am missing...

Very intriguing...
I missed out on the Pennywise painting that Erin Wells donated to the HF Fundraiser this year. Loved that painting and decided I needed to have a painting from her. I got this yesterday and it's off to the framer now. Couldn't wait the 2 weeks to share though. I'm extremely happy with this. I love Erin's take on Pennywise and I've wanted something that represents my favorite literary scene.
Fantastic. Looking forward to the framing result.
I like it too, Aron. Congratulations!
