Congrats, Alan G. I always liked that set.
Yeah nice Alan, don't see those often.
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
Congratulations, everyone! They're gorgeous.
Congratulations, everyone!

It looks like a good one and looks like it might be unread.
Thanks all!
The truth is that I considered selling my proofs, since it's not something I really "collect" (I don't think I'd ever pay for a proof the money I pay for a S/L) but decided not to do it yet. If that moment ever comes, I'll probably sell my UK proofs first, and then my US ones.

I remember you asking for value of some proofs in the past, na?

Me sees a copy of Dolan's Cadillac up on the top shelf there. Me likes.
Very impressive horde there.
Looking forward to your US proofs... hope to get in on a couple. You have any early ARC's.
New Arrivals! (more info and pictures in my collection thread)

Fantastic sculpture!! Rachel is such a great artist!
Great sculpture. I still stop and look at the details in mine every so often. I'm still finding things and amazed at her work.
I received beautiful 1st edition copies of Simmons' Children of the Night and Matheson's Hell House today. Thank you, Twisted Nadine!
To anyone else: I'm still looking for lots of 1st hardcover editions of books by Crichton, Simmons, Matheson and many others. I am mostly looking to trade stuff for my King proofs and magazine 1st appearances but of course I will pay cash as well.
This is a non-exhaustive list of books I'm looking for. They don't need to be signed but are preferably 1st/1st hardcovers in collectible condition.

DT Spoiler - Enter at your own risk!
Spoiler:
You aren't kidding. The highest priced one on Abe is listed for $15,000.
There was actually a really nice Near Fine copy on ebay back in December that went for about $2500. I'm pretty shocked it didn't go for more than that.
Michaël, PM me if you need any of the first edition identification info for the Dune books.
As you saw in my collection thread, I've been expanding my Dune collection recently and have most of that info on hand.
