Aren't they both great productions? I love Desperation from Grant. It's a really solid book. And of course the GE of Misery has that feel that's way beyond what a GE should be like.

just another nut job here.....many of you know that in addition to being a Dark Tower junkie, I also LOVE Shawshank/Different Seasons...I just bought an inscribed 1st printing of Different Seasons with this inscription:
I personally have a "thing" for Lardass Hogan....First time I heard King read part of the story was at the 2/2/02 Wavedancer event for Frank Muller in NYC. I ended up buying the CD and I play it annually for my family...all 3 of my kids (now grown!) can recite the damned CD (my heart leaps for joy)....my #2 son just texted me this week "you've got to pace yourself if you want to hold out" taken straight from the story. A very proud father I am....

Aaaaaaaand the big reveal!
While browsing the Collectible Classifieds back on Oct 26 I came across DoctorZaius' ad for "Salem's Lot, Signed/Limited #186". As that's "my" matching number I was pretty happy to see it and of course dropped Greg a note asking details and price. I figured it was the CD or PS edition; it never even OCCURED to me that it might be the Centipede edition ... until he came back with a price a whole lot higher than I was expecting! It actually didn't process when I first read it, I was thinking "He's outta his mind" until it hit me that it had to be the CP. Absolutely floored me, wasn't even on my radar for ever finding!
A few quick emails (mostly me saying "Holy Shit!") and the deal was done; couldn't be happier to receive this one in! A huge shout out to Greg for hooking me up!
