Oh my god that IT collection is amazing!
I'm laughing at that shitty paperback version leaning up against the beautiful 25th anniversary box though. That is suuch an ugly cover
Amazing IT collection - you into foreign editions as well?

Looking for FAB8 CD Number 439
I had some good pickups recently including-
Insomnia S/L from a member here - I love it! Beautiful edition.
I'm currently reading a paperback of Insomnia and wish I was reading the much nicer, more visible/legible S/L! I might want to pick up a gift edition of this for this purpose lol
Waste Lands S/L #886 - overpaid according to members here, live and learn ($650 on ebay) , still very happy to have it!
Misery Suntup Press Artist Gift Edition - new from Camelot Books. I recently just finished Misery for the first time (I know) so I am currently a little obsessed with this book. The art in this edition is amazing, and I'm jealous of anyone with the numbered or lettered versions (probably forever jealous...) But I'm in love with this gift edition and really happy to have it
But... to keep with the spirit of IT...
I bought a Lot of hardcovers that looked pretty decent on ebay, some being just BCEs that I wanted to read, but there was an It first edition/first printing in there that looked like it was in pretty good shape. I figured, it was at least in much better shape than the one I had already.
I'm very happy with the condition it's in. It's not going to make the cut for the finest 25 1st in webstar1000's amazing collection.. but I think it's good enough that I want one of those slip covers now!
The jacket is great, although has a thin vertical hard-to see stain that looks like it was from another book resting on it. But I'm most happy that the page block isn't sagging 30 miles away from the spine like my old copy! (although it's not :perfect: and as you can see the page edges are a little dirty)
Again, nothing special just pleasantly surprised as I wasn't expecting much from that.
Great additions
Wish List:
Any of the following flatsigned or inscribed-
It, Shining, Salem’s Lot, Mr. Mercedes, The Stand
Brother ARC, Seed ARC

Angel's Game and Prisoner of Heaven (Zafon)
Ilium (Simmons)
I have a Waste Lands S/L listed now for $450!
Dragline : Nothin'. A handful of nothin'. You stupid mullet head. He beat you with nothin'. Just like today when he kept comin' back at me - with nothin'.
Luke : Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
Picked this up off of eBay a bit ago and just got it back from the framer:
It's right up my alley in multiple ways - one of my most favorite King covers (which has not yet seen a good quality print), and a Centipede Press promo item. The auction went for a bit more than I thought (~$50) but I'm happy I got it.
It had an asymmetrical border, which I really liked, and so I just had the framer follow it, but with a much thicker mat than I've used in the past (as you can see in the following picture). The frame is pretty basic - black with multiple beveled edges - but it matches the other frames in the space where it will go, most notably the framed print of The Shining paperback from Suntup.
It came from George Beahm, from whom I've purchased multiple items over the years (as have many others here, I think), and who is always an excellent seller and a total pleasure to work with. Really glad I snagged this and happy with how it turned out
so $450 for Wastelands > 500. What would be the premium on top of that for a <=500 numbered copy?
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
I will be embarking on my 44th annual reading of 'Salem's Lot in style tomorrow...
Along the 'Salem's Lot line some recent acquisitions by Second Coming artist Robert Addison.
Hide & Seek #2, 1967. 24" x 30", egg tempera on Masonite board:
Old Bones, 1973. 24" x 32", egg tempera on Masonite board:
Circus Wagons, 1974. 20" x 36" egg tempera on Masonite board.
Backyard Swing, 1983. 16" x 24" gouache on board.
Those paintings...mesmerizing. Great paint work and use of color and shading.
