Favorite part the very first battle scene when they throw the spear and tell the persians to come and get their spears. and the entire battle. And really, I thought the entire movie rocked!
Matt, don't forget it's from the Graphic Novel by Frank Miller. It's not, well, historically accurate. It's weird though, I was thinking that when I was watching today, and when they showed the close up of the spear head, the only thing I can think is since it's shaped somewhat like a diamond, that the back-end of the spear head must be very f'n sharp. The only reason in my head why it was so easy to pull it back thru.

What's so great about this movie? Two guys in my office were hopping up and down until they got off work Tuesday to see this, and even some guy at Will's office asked him if he wanted to watch it Tuesday night, of course he did.

Its just a very well done adaptation of a Frank Miller graphic novel. The subject is a slightly historical account of 300 Spartans defending their city to the death against hordes of Persians.

I watched Stardust on Sunday with a friend. It was really great depsite some of the changes from the book. Robert Deniro as gay crossdressing airship captain was worth te $6 in itself.

If so, it was great! I just remember it is about talking rats and one is on a mission to save his family/house from a plow.
