Talking about when is something coming out, has anyone heard when, if ever, they are finally going to release The Road?

I'm looking forward to that movie also. Viggo Mortensen is going to slam that motherf'r out of the park.

Has anyone heard of that new sci-fi movie Moon with Sam Rockwell?

    Indeed!

I saw one years ago, it was very rudimentary but 'better than nothing'.
Searched a good while on google images, but could not find it.

-It sure would be a challenge. East is West and South is North,

You travel South East to get from N.Y.C. to Topeka etc.

Then you would have to layer the wheres and whens.

I don't yet have much functionality on the site yet,
but I do have time on my hands and I am in the middle of a read-through,
so I could start saving relevant bits of info and lay something out.

    It could be done ;>

Well, thanks to everyone who commented on the pics!

I actually have many sets of such pictorials, if anyone requests specific pics,
I'm happy to go out and get them, -if I don't have them already.

As for the World Map, I will start it off, but you guys are likely to be much more knowledgeable in the specifics (or) vagaries than me...

-So it will have to be an on going and collaborative effort.

I guess the best place to start would be with the DT and the various animal points that mark the beams. It's intimidating, because the whole thing is going to be loose and contradictory at times.

Maybe that's why nobody has done it?

Nota Bene: Did you guys know about this place?

I suck at explaining, so let me just copy + paste the Wikipedia article

Moon is an upcoming science fiction thriller film about a solitary lunar employee who finds that he may not be able to go home to Earth so easily. The film is the feature film debut of commercial director Duncan Jones, and actor Sam Rockwell stars as the lunar employee. Kevin Spacey voices his robot companion. The film premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival in January 2009. Sony Pictures Classics will commercially distribute the film in the United States and Canada in June 2009.

Sam Bell (Sam Rockwell) is an employee contracted by the company Lunar to mine on the moon the natural gas Helium 3, which could reverse Earth's energy crisis. Sam is stationed at the lunar base Selene with only a robot named Gertie (voiced by Kevin Spacey), but two weeks before completing his three year assignment, he begins feeling out of place. An extraction goes wrong, and Sam suspects Lunar of trying to replace him as he realises someone else is on the Moon.

Sounds interesting, and I love Sam Rockwell. I'll have to check it out when it gets released. Kinda reminds me of a Twilight Zone episode.

Well, The Spirit was beautiful to watch, at least. But the dialogue.. I know they made it with tongue-in-cheek, but it annoyed me neverthless. But hey, Samuel L. Jackson did well. And I'm so digging Gabriel Macht (the Spirit) now! Enjoy!

I just watched Sam Rockwell in a film called Snow Angels with Kate Beckinsale.

I thought it was pretty good. Sam Rockwell plays Beckinsale's husband who is trying to get his life back together after trying to kill himself due to the separation of their marriage.

It also follows two young high school students in the beginning stages of a relationship.

The film starts out with two shots being heard and the story unfolds from there.

It might not be for everybody, but if you like Indy type stuff then you might like this.

Feel free to create a thread and head that up if you like misterman, if a map can actually be created, I will give an entry to each person involved.

If it's done before May 16th, you can be included in this years giveaway...after would be next year which is bound to be even better (if that is possible).

I can't help but lose it when I see the scene of Bond in the tank though. It's the shots of his head popping up out of the tank as he destroys the entire city. I think there is even one shot where a woman pushing a stroller jumps out of the way.
I mean damn, Bond will do/destroy anything just to get laid at the end of the movie.

Same here Amanda. As far as the Pierce movies, I think its the best by far, but I prefer Daniel Craig a lot more if only because its not as over the top.

Its cool that you love it, though, feev. I'm not trying to dis it. I'm a huge fan of Rocky IV, but its really a ridiculous movie as is Top Gun, which I also love. I'm a product of 80's excess, but Goldeneye was just too much as were the other bond movies of the 90's.

I think part of the reason that I like it so much is because of Sean Bean. He's such a despicable character, but I love him in all his preachy-double crossing glory
