I started rereading Philosopher's Stone (bought on vacation to Ireland, screw the Sorcerer's Stone) and I just feel bad because it's like "oh Harry, you are an orphan in a cupboard. Just wait til you get older and suffer for years!" Knowing what happens to all these little children is adding a weird suspense element to it.

Ummm...I don't mean to sound bad sj, but there is a thread for every book plus this official thread, plus one for every movie, correct? It's a weee bit much don't you think?

there are two book threads. this one, plus the book 7 thread. some people still haven't finished. the hp movie discussions take place in gem theater, along with the other movie discussions.

i was just pointing out that there was a current discussion going on.

I'm just about finished with Order of the Phoenix, and I think I can safely say that it's going to end up being my least favorite of the series. :/

HOW?? The very first real fight in my opioion in the series. Dumbledore telling Harry everything. Sirius dieing. Just a great book. My favorite.

Oh, yes! I bought a copy the day it was issued and read it the next day. Then I reread it a day or so later, to pick up whatever I had missed on the first read.
