Crossed 100 #3
Descender #1
I totally forgot about the Walking Dead. I'm getting close to being up to date with it's releases. I like both the comic and the show (this season the most). I will say that I'm not sure how much it can go on as it is getting repetitive with fighting either zombies or people. I do like the realism as if it were one day a reality, then this is how it would be.

I finished Uzamaki. I liked the dreary, dark, depression that sets in. I'm glad it didn't run forever with dull stories. It wasn't bad. Thanks for the read!

I was glad the story didn't go on forever too. The ending wrapped things up in a satisfying way.
I deleted my blog. I felt pressure to review things I felt weren't that great. I'll start a new one but will switch from 400-500 word reviews to somewhere around 1000 but will post fewer reviews. I'm already expanding and reworking write-ups I was most satisfied with. I just got tired of spending a good chunk of my free time on mediocre anthologies instead of reading and writing about what I wanted.
I'm reading Warren Ellis: The Captured Ghost Interviews by Patrick Meaney. Insider look into the comics industry and what he thinks of his own work. It's free with Amazon Unlimited for Kindle. Also reading The Brass Sun by Ian Edginton.

did you guys see Batman's new armor? looks like a cross between Chappie and Pacific Rim.
Did you get to reading Metabarons yet? I'll be starting Final Incal by Jodorowsky today. I've been postponing it because that's it. No more prequels, sequels, tie-ins or whatever.
Prophet 4 was great.
I read The Incal years ago and was thoroughly unimpressed. I plan on giving it a reread soon, but I am curious as to why everyone seams to swear by it.
On the other hand, I thought Metabarons was fantastic.
I liked both Metabarons and Technopriests more than Incal. Those two are 5/5. Incal is 3.5/5. "Thoroughly unimpressed" seems a little harsh. I reserve those comments for the crapola from the Big Two. Still, to each his own and such.
Just came back from the store. New Alan Moore Nemo and Jodorowsky's Bouncer came out. It's a good thing I'm sick as a dog and have nothing to do today.
Well, like I said, it was years ago and I am willing to give it a reread. I didn't say it sucked, I just didn't really get it, at that time.
I haven't had a chance to try out Technopriests yet. Still waiting on amazon to fulfill my order on the Metabarons reissue.
Let us know how that new Bouncer is!
Borrowed the deluxe first volume of 100 Bullets from a friend, quite enjoyed it, gonna have to track down the rest soon. In the mean time though I have been going over some of Gary Phillips work, just read The Rinse, gonna start on Angel Town soon.
Star Wars: Darth Vader #3
Conan Red Sonja #3
Red Sonja #15
Graveyard Shift 3&4

Blasted through Angel Town and High Rollers last night. Need to track down some more good crime comics.
Read for free online:
Millennium #1
Megalex #1 by Jodorowsky
You don't need to download any software, read it right on the Humanoids Inc. website.
Sooooo Dark Matter is being made into a 13 episode SyFy special.
Yay?
I finally trimmed down my pull list. Dropped American Vampire (because at this point, I don't care about anyone anymore), The Dark Tower (terrible, terrible, terrible book. Should've done this three arcs ago)War Stories (by Ennis. I'll get the trade once it's out).
Brian Wood has a new book out but after the very underwhelming Massive and Star Wars runs, I'm not willing to take a chance on him anymore. Too bad, he used to be my go-to.
I've finally discovered two Capes and Tights books I like: Convergence and Futures End.
Nameless (Morrison) and Descender (Lemire) are both great. Wytches (Snyder) is still going strong. I feel if that book was in prose form and published as a novella by a respectable publisher, it would've been at the very least nominated for a Stoker.
Does anyone here draw comics for themselves? If so, I'm hearing about the younger generation doing so with digital tablets. Anyone use these? Such as the bamboo splash tablet? Thanks for any input on the matter.
