Stephen King and his tour de force literary family, consisting of his wife, Tabitha King and his two sons, Joseph Hillstrom King (Joe Hill) and Owen King today announced a new collaborative novel. The four author’s have spent two years collectively writing their new novel titled “In a Few Words..” by The Four Kings. Scheduled to be released on November 28, 2023
At approximately 3,203 pages in length, the novel brings together character and storylines from each of the authors most famous works. Stephen King’s Dark Tower universe is expanded to encompass Joe Hill’s post-apocalyptic The Fireman, and pairs the firefighter savior with the legendary Gunslinger, Roland of Gilead. Both are pulled through portals created by the Mad Scientist Roger Tinker; using government-funded Applied Phlebotinum originally seen in Tabitha King’s ‘Small World’. Also included is an untitled Haiku by Owen King.
To be published by the newly created publishing company Royal Flush. Royal Flush is owned by the all four of the King family members.
When asked who edited the lengthy manuscript, Stephen King replied: “None of us has had an editor for years. We simply wrote, and wrote until finished”.
Michael Biomieg a spokesperson for Greenpeace decried the novel as a “self-aggrandizing money maker that will result in the death of 250,000 trees and one or two sperm whales”.
