    If someone hasn't seen the 1933 version of Alice in Wonderland, I implore you to check it out! There might have been no Wizard of Oz without this movie, and even though it was not a success at the time, and is pretty obscure even today, it's such an imaginative and faithful adaptation, with some very cool special effects for its time.
