i just posted in the introduction thread...

i'm so glad i've found this forum! (even tho i've just finished the 4th book and not the whole series yet, so i'll have to tread carefully to avoid spoilers)...

i think once i do finish the series (which'll not take me long once i go and buy the 5 - 7th books on Monday) there's gonna be a big void in my life! lol

i find it weird that stephen king (and therefore all DT fans) know the word 'palaver'. my hubby is from the UK and he uses it a lot! (but only as 'what a palava' (cuz it's a shortened version of palaver) - meaning what a bunch of pointless talk lol. i never really knew the word in any other context, then i found it in the DT books! and King uses a lot of other UK words/phrases as well...which i find weird (cuz he's american) but he must've done lotsa research

Hey all, just posted my intro, and I'm really looking forward to getting to know you guys--I'm SOOO glad ppl are still talking about these books since I just started them!

And I'm glad you guys are pretty careful about spoilers, too--I'm so scared now that I'm reading them that someone is going to just mention the ending to me randomly some time!

Anywho, I actually found this place accidentally after having read about the New World Order on Wikipedia and well, here I am.

Actually it's pretty great to have found a place like this... I'm the only Dark Tower fan I know (eh, people around where I live ain't much readers of english books).

EDIT: Read all the books before (God knows how many times) and just started on the last book (again).

I always wanted to make some fan page or forum about DT in czech language but it wouldn't never work(in my country there are just not enough fans of the Tower) as site like this one(I mean "multicultural") so I'm glad to be here
