Hi Guys, I came to the Tower shortly before The Waste Lands was published (in fact I got a Hardcover, Grant run if I remember right), so it took almost 20 years to read the series.
I lurked here a bit, signed up late last year, and am now ready to be a part of the site.
I live in Portland, Oregon where I was born, with a 19 (heh)year dalliance in Alaska.
The Dark Tower series is a firm part of my life, and I find myself using phrases from the book in casual converstaion. I wrote a short story that can only be considered fanfic with Jake in it. As soon as I find the right area, i will port it over here.
It is fantastic to see my sig file used so frequently here, as for almost 15 yrs I have signed off with "the man in black fled across the desert and the gunslinger followed."

Im pretty new to the series, bought all 7 in one go so I havn't had to wait a second to move between them which is pretty awesome! Great to be here, I'm sure I'll find some interesting stuff to read and talk about.

Hi everybody! I'm rereading the Dark Tower series for the second time right now, just started Wolves the other day. I really like the site so far, look forward to catching up on some of these threads and reading what everybody has to say.

im currently on the last book, about 100 pages in, and its damn incredible. part of my wants to finish it as soon as possible, and the other half wants to savour every chapter
