    During the first round of The Great Movie Tournament, please vote for up to six films you would like to move onto the next round. The top six films will be moving on. Keep in mind that the percentage of the vote a given film receives will determine its standing going forward.

    I don't know if it's the 'best' film of the 80's, but if we're going solely on capturing the spirit of an era, the Goonies has gotta be in that top 10.

    Just because it oozes 80s does not make it a great film. Loved it when I was a kid, but tried to show it to my kids - boring!

    Just because it oozes 80s does not make it a great film. Loved it when I was a kid, but tried to show it to my kids - boring!
    Showed it to my Godson. He loved it. I personally still find it entertaining. Just because you find it boring as an adult, doesn't mean it's not a great film.
