    It's funny because my wife and I just watched a Netflix show called "The Movies That Made Us" and the first episode was about Dirty Dancing. They talked to the writer and how difficult it was to find a studio to produce it and they went through all the casting ect...

    Watching it though, made me realize just how much of the movie I had forgotten because it's been so long since I've seen it.
    Hearts are tough, she said, most times hearts don't break, and I'm sure that's right . . . but what about then? What about who we were then? What about hearts in Atlantis?

    Well, I would recommend Labriynth, it's one of my all time favorite films, but I'm not sure you'll appreciate it.

    No, it wasn't. But it was the final time Ray Harryhausen's work could shine....and shine it did, in spite of the rest of the movie - which wasn't all that great.

    I loved it, but I am remembering it from the eyes of a 13 yr old.

    In fact, looking at the list, I would say only about 29 of the movies have I seen in the last 10-20 years, so most of my votes will be on vague memories.

    Jimmy Dean was enjoyable and it's worthy of my vote. I have to say though, I don't see how a film like that is better than a film like Diner. They are very similar and revolve around a group of people in pretty much one location. Both films feature characters reflecting on their lives.
