    Yikes, I didn't read that in the rules but like you say, I've never thought of it as a doc at all. I should really read the rules. So forgive me if this has been discussed elsewhere but will there be any docs allowed in the contest at all from any decade?

    Yeah the idea here is for narrative features only. Maybe one day we could do a Best Documentary tournament? But not for a while.
