If I am reading this right, it sounds like you get two versions of EOTD? The Green one and the Red one. Is that how other people read it? if so, that wold up the value
a bit but it's still a lot of money.

I read that you are getting the red one only, the Cayman one. It says so near the beginning with what's included, which still ups the value as it's rarer (even though I prefer green). I think my priorities are out of whack if I'm going within even ten grand of that price for rebounds although they are beautiful.

More than a few have been over the 5 figure mark... market is there for these and that set will sell I bet.

Yes. More than a few people have bought into the potential of what this will turn into. I myself feel like it's a CRAZY price. With Paul having to focus on both Suntup and DRE I feel like one will fall back a bit, and I'm putting my bets on DRE. Being that alot of the values in these sets is the rights, I just dont feel it's worth it, sorry. For their retail price they're wonderful!

The listing says 4 volumes and there is only one "P" copy for EotD.

Yeah I think the picture of the EOTD books are a bit confusing showing multiple copies like that as well. They are just stock/DRE photos though. They should send in pictures of the actual copies being sold to clear up any questions.

Wow, that's amazing. PC copies of a series usually don't guarantee future rights. That's really cool of DRE to do that!

PC copies serve a purpose. Paul, and other publishers, can't just rebind/print 26 copies and hope everything works out. He needs to have extras in case of unforeseen damage, shipping loss, etc..

I would very much like to buy just the black and red RC edition of Eyes of the Dragon. If there's any chance that the set could be split up (unlikely I know, but it doesn't hurt to ask), I would make a nice offer for that book only!

I'm not sure if any sets have been parted out, but if you were going to do it, I think it'd be better to do it with the RC copies. I can't imagine separating a lettered set!

I can personally vouch for the King signature......because King signed this book while it was in my hands.
