    If it is okay, I would like to take a "learnable moment" and ask if this copy displayed on ebay is an accurate example of what is considered Very Good (with light damage). My grading skills are still very elementary and this looked like a good opportunity to get some opinions/advice.

    Just so you know, it appears that I lean towards the harsher end of things as I would have called this only Good.

    A "very good" book has no open tears/crushing like that one.

    I would say that the dustjacket is fair. I can't tell about the book but probably good.

    He did the same thing to me! I just opened mine last night and was more than a little surprised to find an artist edition - number 213 - in there instead of my gift edition. I'm sending it back too. George said he's sending me a signed copy of his book for my honesty, which is funny in a way. Also pretty nice, since I don't have a copy. LOL, I wonder if everybody that ordered a gift edition from that listing got an artist edition. And if so, I wonder how many he'll get back...

    You will notice that the auction has been ended by the seller.

    That is because George realized he had accidentally shipped out his traycased edition to someone that had ordered a slipcased edition.....and when I opened the box I received from him today, it turned out to be me.

    I am sending this back to George...so I have no doubt he will relist again. If you want it, you should probably just contact him.

    Me too, I bought one 75 dollar GE and received one AE instead. I didn't get an email from George inquiring about it, though. That's what I was asking about.

    So I guess everybody that bought one from that 75 dollar listing didn't get an AE on accident. Sounds like jsweet got a GE and you got one too (in addition to the AE). Hopefully he just sent out the 2 AE's and now will get them back.
