On the King auction front, there's a few S/L auctions ending tonight...a Regulators was at $405 with an hour left...it will be interersting to see the final value.

If I didn't already have a Regulators S/L, I'd have been tempted to bid with the price that low.

Just letting everyone know that the Rush Limbaugh charity auction now has its own thread for discussion. Thanks.

Don't see many Lettered The Stand
Starting at $3,500 in this market is way too high.

That shirt looks like they took a scan of Whelan's painting and inverted it in Photoshop. Not exactly legal to sell if you aren't Whelan. (sorry, clicking one command in Photoshop doesn't make it original art)
Agreed. We make no claim to legality or veracity-we just post 'em as we see 'em.
I bid on this when 2 minutes were left and I was winning it. And then the one that was winning it before me bid again and I lost it.

Sorry Ari. You have to bid with ~20 seconds or use a snipe.
Yes...I was going to do that, but last time I lost a DT1 3rd for 25 because I waited until 20 seconds were left.
I have to get a bid snipper.

Sorry to hear that Ari
It did not sell at a starting price of 3.5K-this time. The person who wants a "Lettered The Stand", either has one currently, or isn't willing to spend 3.5K on the book.
IMO, This is one King title (not the only) where a lettered edition is not going to command 4x-10x the prcie of the numbered.
BTW,
welcome Hutch. Your expertise, opinions and insight will be greatly appreciated here.
