Thanks, y'all.
To be honest, Ceri: I suck. I was so busy I forgot to look.
I'll see what I can do.

.....A good buy for someone. This was listed without "Stephen" on the heading so it doesn't have any bids. Hurry though...ends in one hour

Seller also has a couple other books ending soon without the name in the heading.
Well it went for $242.17. I bid, but wasn't going to spend more than $205.
This is the first time I see this item...and man, how I wish I could buy it!

Too much work/skill involved for me to make it look good.
Too much money for me. I have ZERO skill for putting those things together and would have to pay someone to do it for me. I could take a prepainted model of Superman and end up with a one armed guy wearing a green suit, with no cape, with a "Z" on the chest.

Back in the dark ages when I was a kid, I LOVED putting together model kits. I really liked the sailing ships. I put in all the rigging, etc. Now, because I shake so badly, I'd make a gigantic mess of anything I tried, I'm sure. This is a temptation, though!

I love it. I think it's the first time I seriously consider placing a bid on a priced item like this one (besides a signed book, of course )

Is that thing really worth the $150 bid? Might it really go higher? I guess I'm just not impressed in this case.
It is to someone.

Good point, Sam.

Thanks for the link, Ceri! It's the first time I've seen it and am very impressed.
By the way, it's good to have you back and contributing again!
John
Thank you, Ceri, for posting that.
I did find a link a couple days ago, however it wasn't the full link that you posted which goes to the slideshow. The link I had was shorter and has been locked by the owner, so we can no longer access the photos there.
If it were unlocked, I believe "my" link had the still versions of the photos in that slideshow, and holds the photos of the pages signed by the all the people who participated in the book tour.
I wish the full album were unlocked so we could see the additional photos again.
Thanks again.

p.s. I won the auction.

I bought one recently from that guy empty. Soon afterwards I found the full bottles for sale online.
Yes, that stuff is pretty easy to come by out here too - full bottles in the store, I mean. Has anyone actually tried the rum?
