Eternal Sunshine. I also really enjoyed 28 Days Later, and wish they could both move on, but there's no way I can pick it over Eternal Sunshine.

I know most people don't see it this way but the 28 (whatever) series is so generic zombie movie to me. I definitely went Eternal Sunshine here.

Yeah Iím flummoxed that it made this far even. Iím not a huge zombie fan to begin with and I get that itís a pretty popular movie, but itís displaced some much better films.

I haven't seen ESSM. I liked but didn't love 28 days. I have decided to abstain, since I don't feel 28 days is good enough to advance, and I can't vote for a move I never saw (and I hate Jim Carrey)

Honestly, this is a really different role for Jim. At least compared to things like The Mask or Ace Ventura or Bruce Almighty where's he's all wacky and goofy (which I also like).

28 Days Later is anything but generic. I also consider it more of an infected movie.

Either way, as much as I love it, it has to be Spotless Mind here. It's one of those films that once it ended I knew I had just watched something that will be remembered for a long time.

Spotless Mind was a poor choice for a date movie for the 2004 version of me. But, on the other hand, it's one of my all-time favorites now, at least of this decade. And here's also a nice lengthy discussion about the film:

I would highly urge you to give it a chance. I can not stand Jim Carey. Like really can't stand his acting But this is a very different type of role for him, and he didn't bother me here at all. Also this is nothing like The Truman Show. A film where he tried to be serious but was still just1 Jim Carey.
