    AHoV is an almost perfect thriller. Great acting, tight direction, escalating scenarios, mounting tension. Superb film by Cronenberg.

    I always thought that Brokeback Mountain was one of those movies that everyone loved and I just didn't get. Like when it first came out everyone was saying it was this great movie that you just HAD to watch.

    I thought it was OK but nothing special. Although I did vote for it.
    Hearts are tough, she said, most times hearts don't break, and I'm sure that's right . . . but what about then? What about who we were then? What about hearts in Atlantis?

    Well I actually didn't outright hate it although some reviewers are putting it on their worst movie ever list now. That's going a bit far because I've seen all of what MST3K and Rifftrax has to offer but mainly I am angry because Brokeback was a better film and deserved the win, imho. 2005 was a very contentious year. I know mae would have liked to see Munich win, I think.... I would have been happy with that winning over Crash too. Sorry Ricky!

    I'm a Crash fan too, but yes I think Munich was by far the best film of that year.
